Review Guidelines

Useful experiences. Respectful discussion.

These guidelines help keep school reviews relevant, fair and useful to educators considering their next role.

Share your own experience

Write about a school where you have worked. Include the period you worked there and distinguish your opinions from factual statements. Avoid rumours or experiences you cannot speak to directly.

Be specific and balanced

Explain the context behind your ratings. Positive and negative experiences are both welcome. Focus on school practices and working conditions rather than personal attacks.

Protect personal information

Do not identify pupils, disclose private contact details or publish confidential documents. Describe colleagues by their roles rather than naming individuals. Your public display name should differ from your email address if you wish to keep it private.

Review moderation

Submissions will be checked against these guidelines before publication. We may request clarification or decline content that contains identifying information, abuse, spam or unsupported allegations. Moderation does not independently verify every statement in a review.
